London – Capping Off 2021

Another year full of ups, downs, lockdowns and worldwide uncertainty. Thankfully work, London and the limited travel that I undertook was relatively unaffected and my world felt fairly normal. Theatre, ballet, summer festivals, sunshine, running adventures, cycling, good food, many Sunday roasts, new and old friends. A few other highlights included All Points East music festival with Marta, Natalia and Anna, opening Whitechapel to the public and putting my construction packages across the line. Finishing Whitechapel also meant saying goodbye to lots of great people that I’ve worked with over two years as they moved on to new projects. A special shout out to Nikki and Tova who always bring a smile to my face and provide many an interesting chat. We even spent one very memorable day seeing frozen and then eating Japanese and gorging on sickly sweet doughnuts (my idea of a very good time). Also to Nat and Anna for a wonderful Polish Christmas dinner.

During the later half of the year I even got across to Paris a handful of times. Carine and I went out to the coast, visiting La Rochelle and the surrounds and then I was lucky enough to get back another time to be able to celebrate Blake and Nari’s wedding. A big congratulations to them both, wishing them many happy years to come.
