The warm salty ocean air, sunlight reflecting off the deep green swell, gliding along effortlessly on a catamaran, frisbee games on a private beach, an open bar and fresh ceviche. Jarrahs birthday in a nutshell.

Blake, Jarrah and Mikey arrived within a couple of days of one another and we all met down at the beach town of San Juan Del Sur in Nicaragua for Jarrahs 30th birthday celebrations. The day was amazing fun with the cocktails flowing freely and everyone having an incredible day swimming and playing on our own private beach, then at the end of the night Blake and I drunkenly deciding to follow Mikey in a swim all the way from the docks into the beach.

We rented an apartment right on the beachfront in town so spent the next couple of days together relaxing, swimming, drinking fresh fruit smoothies and watching stunning sunsets. All too soon it was time for Blake and I to move on, with two buses and +20hrs of travel to get back to Utila for some freediving. It was sad to leave Megan, Jarrah and Mikey but more adventures awaited ahead.
