Canada – Tadoussac

“Moose watch!”

My game of choice for the drive north into Tadoussac. Leftover snow drifts and bitterly cold wind created what I imagined as the ideal backdrop to come across a herd of the big hairies on the road. Alas I wasn’t in luck.

The couple of days spent here involved putting on all the clothes I could and walking the coastline for spectacular views up and down the fjord. On the lookout for whales as the season has just started. Again, like the elusive moose, there were none to be seen. Onwards to Cape Breton and the Bay of Fundy which should deliver the goods.

Two homies with our cool kid beanies. Mine is home made by Jano, seriously amazing!!
The cold waterfront views.
On the lookout for moose.

A special shout out to my Dad whose birthday it is today!! What I wouldn’t give to have him close by so I could drop round and make him breakfast. Just like my brothers and I used to get on weekends growing up. Baked beans, fried tomato and onion, eggs, bacon and worcestershire sauce all on toast. Yum yum!! Or maybe just head over with a bottle of cream and cereal?

Happy Birthday!!
